Where does the wool go?

The wool falls on to the ground and quickly disappears into the pasture.

How many lambs will each ewe have?

The Wiltshires are very fertile sheep so twins are the norm, triplets are not uncommon.

Are wiltshires good mothers?

Yes, The ewes are very good mothers.

Do you have to dock the tails?

There is no need to dock because the under side of the tail is bare skin and remains clean.

Will the ewe lambs breed in the first year?

Yes. We find that 75% will breed if they are well grown, but is important to feed them well through the winter.
